Please note: For the Forms, Grievance, Million Dollar Club, and Professional Standards committees, members will be appointed by the respective chairman and selection does not guarantee your appointment.

Brokerfest
This committee plans the annual Fall Networking Event, BrokerFest. The proceeds are donated to the Scott Selig Scholarship Fund at Camp Twin Lakes and the Atlanta REALTORS® Educational Foundation. Over 400 brokers attend each year.
Care Committee
The committee was established as a method of supporting our own ACBR members when they are facing serious illness or personal tragedy. This committee is composed of appointed members.
Community Service
This committee plans the annual Spring Fundraiser to raise funds to benefit the ACBR selected charities. Volunteers also participate in various community service projects throughout Metro Atlanta, with organizations such as First Tee, The Mary Hall Freedom House, The Study Hall and USO.
Diversity
This committee was created to embrace, educate, and elevate minorities and women in the commercial real estate industry through avenues such as networking, education and mentorship programs. More info »
Education
This committee plans, organizes and promotes the Board's monthly educational programs which attract over 100 members monthly. Topics cover all facets of commercial real estate.
Forms
This committee reviews, revises and creates our own ACBR forms for use by our members and the public. MUST have been a REALTOR® for a minimum of (5) years in order to serve.
Governmental Affairs & RPAC
Calling all members with ties to their community government! Members of the Governmental Affairs & RPAC committee combine their connections to Metro Atlanta community governments to give the Board a voice in local policy issues that impact our industry. This committee shapes the formulation of local ordinances and policy through professional lobbying, grassroots advocacy, and supporting the election of pro-REALTOR® candidates for public office. Committee members also review legislation and recommend political action to protect the interests of REALTORS®, our industry, and our clients.
Mentorship
To establish a program for women and minorities in our industry. The mentorship program was launched and had it's first graduating class in 2015. Mentees are selected in September; Mentees and Mentors are paired; a kick-off meeting is held in November; and events take place throughout the year.
Million Dollar Club (MDC)
This committee reviews the rules and examines all applications for the MDC to qualify applicants for approval by the Board of Directors. MUST have been a REALTOR® for a minimum of (5) years AND be a past MDC member in order to serve.
Student Outreach
The Student Outreach Committee was established to promote ACBR Student Membership to students that are interested in commercial real estate. Members will reach out to students to make them aware of ACBR and YCR Events. Partnerships with universities and colleges will be established with outreach events with Emory University, Georgia State University, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State University, Morehouse College, Spellman College and University of Georgia.
Statewide Professional Standards Cooperative
The Atlanta REALTORS® Association is a member of the Statewide Professional Standards Cooperative established by the Georgia Association of REALTORS®. Members of the following 2 committees are appointed by the ARA Board of Directors at the beginning of each calendar year.

Grievance
This committee reviews and investigates complaints against members as well as arbitration requests filed with the Association. When appropriate, it refers them to the Professional Standards Committee for a hearing.
In order to participate on this committee, you must: (1) have held REALTOR® membership for a minimum of three years; (2) attend a GAR approved Professional Standards training seminar; and (3) sign a confidentiality agreement.
Professional Standards
This committee encourages strict adherence to the REALTORS® Code of Ethics by all members. It conducts hearings on alleged violations of the Code of Ethics, commission disputes, and other matters referred by the Grievance Committee and/or the Board of Directors.
In order to participate on this committee, you must: (1) have held REALTOR® membership for a minimum of five years; (2) attend a GAR approved Professional Standards training seminar; and (3) sign a confidentiality agreement.
