How do I become a Member?

ACBR offers four primary membership categories: ACBR Member, REALTOR®, Affiliate, and Affiliate Associate

ACBR Member

Annual Dues: $385.00
Designed for:
Members with an active Georgia real estate or appraiser license who want access to local-level benefits.
Benefits Include:

  • Eligibility for the Million Dollar Club and other awards programs.
  • Free local education seminars and quarterly CE courses.
  • Numerous local networking opportunities throughout the year.
  • Access to commercial real estate industry forms.
  • Required for all licensees under a Managing Principal who is an ACBR Member (non-REALTOR®) type member.

ACBR REALTOR®

Annual Dues: $650.00
Designed for:
Members with an active real estate or appraiser license who want local, state, and national-level benefits.
Benefits Include:

  • All the local-level benefits of ACBR membership.
  • Services and advocacy from the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
  • Additional Benefits include the REALTOR® mark, GAR Forms Access, exclusive Designations & Certifications, GAR Affinity discounts, and NAR's REALTOR® Benefits Program.
  • Required for all licensees under a Managing Principal or Designated REALTOR® who is an ACBR REALTOR® type member.

ACBR Affiliate

Annual Dues: $518.00
Designed for:
Professionals who do not hold an active Georgia real estate or appraiser license but work in real estate–related industries (lending, construction, economic development, real estate law, etc.) and want access to local-level member benefits.
Benefits Include:

  • Numerous local networking opportunities throughout the year.
  • Build lasting relationships that strengthen your business connections.
  • Support charitable initiatives and community outreach programs through ACBR events.
  • Highlight your services by sponsoring ACBR meetings, classes, or special events.

ACBR Affiliate Associate

Annual Dues: $268.00
Designed for:
An individual who works for the same company as an ACBR Affiliate Member and also wants to participate in ACBR.
Benefits Include:

  • The same local networking opportunities throughout the year
  • The ability to build business relationships and visibility within the commercial real estate community
  • Opportunities to support ACBR charitable and community programs.
  • Participation in ACBR meetings, classes, and special events
  • Available only if the company already has a primary ACBR Affiliate member

How do I complete an Application?

Once your application is processed, you'll receive a welcome email with your Membership ID# or username and website login credentials. Additional emails will include training instructions and deadline reminders.

Membership Type & Fees

In order to join the Association, you will need to pay the prorated amount of your membership fees and an application fee. ACBR, GAR's, and NAR's fiscal cycles run on a calendar year, January 1 - December 31.

New ACBR members will pay a $60 application fee in addition to the annual fee listed below.

ACBR MEMBER (Non-REALTOR®)

$385/yr

Licensees with a Managing Principal who have an ACBR Member (non-REALTOR®) type membership and wish to gain access to local-level benefits.

This membership option does not include the REALTOR® designation and does not hold membership with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

Becoming a Member

REALTOR® and non-REALTOR® members follow the same onboarding process, with one additional training requirement for REALTOR® members.

SUBMIT a completed application with the appropriate membership fee.

ATTEND New Member Orientation within the first six months of membership.

COMPLETE an approved Code of Ethics training course within the first six months of membership.
*REALTOR® members must complete an Ethics course that specifically meets NAR learning objectives.

COMPLETE a NAR-approved Fair Housing / Anti-Bias training course within the first six months of membership.
*Required for REALTOR® Members only

SEND PROOF OF COMPLETION if you completed the Code of Ethics or Fair Housing/Anti-Bias Training online or attended a class not provided by the association.
