ACBR Membership Types & Fees

ACBR offers two primary membership categories:

ACBR Member

Annual Dues: $360.00
Designed for: 
Members with an active Georgia real estate or appraiser license who want access to local-level benefits.
Benefits Include:

  • Eligibility for the Million Dollar Club and other awards programs.
  • Free local monthly education seminars and quarterly CE courses.
  • Numerous local networking opportunities throughout the year.
  • Access to commercial real estate industry forms.
  • Required for all licensees under a Managing Principal who is an ACBR Member (non-REALTOR®) type member.

Managing Principal Member
A Managing Principal Member is defined as a Principal, Qualifying Broker, Partner, Corporate Officer, or Branch Manager of a Real Estate firm. There is only one Managing Principal Member per company, and he/she is responsible for paying ACBR Member dues for all licensed agents within the organization.

Note for Managing Principal Members: Fees must also be paid per licensed agent within the company. Paying fees on agents within an office does not automatically qualify them for membership; each agent must complete an application and fulfill all necessary requirements.

ACBR REALTOR®

Annual Dues: $599.00
Designed for: 
Members with an active real estate or appraiser license who want local, state, and national-level benefits.
Benefits Include:

  • All the local-level benefits of ACBR membership.
  • Services and advocacy from the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
  • Required for all licensees under a Managing Principal or Designated REALTOR® who is an ACBR REALTOR® type member.

Designated REALTOR®
A Designated REALTOR® (DR) is defined as a Principal, Partner, Corporate Officer, or Branch Manager of a Real Estate firm. There is only one Designated REALTOR® per company, and he/she is responsible for paying ACBR REALTOR® dues for all licensed agents within the organization.

Note for DRs: Fees must also be paid per licensed agent within the company. Paying fees on agents within an office does not automatically qualify them for membership; each agent must complete an application and fulfill all necessary requirements.

Affiliate

Annual Dues: $500.00
An Affiliate is an individual who does not hold an active real estate license but has an interest in the real estate profession and wishes to participate in ACBR. Affiliate members do not hold membership with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

Affiliate Associate

Annual Dues: $250.00
An Affiliate Associate is an individual employed by the same company as an ACBR Member Affiliate who also wishes to participate in ACBR.  Affiliate Associate members do not hold membership with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

Additional Information

Non-member Licensee

Non-member licensees are unable to reap any Board Benefits nor are able to use the REALTOR® marks in conjunction with their business. Per the dues membership requirements, the Designated REALTOR® is responsible for paying dues for all licensed agents within the organization including non-member licensees. If someone is under a non-member licensee status, this could be for a couple of reasons:

  • They never submitted a membership application nor paid the application fee so they are under a non-member licensee status. The Board simply received a payment for their annual dues. They must simply submit a membership application and application fee to become an active REALTOR® member to be able to reap the full benefits.
  • They did not complete the New Members Training Requirements within the appropriate time frame. To reactivate their membership, they must fill out the online application to reinstate their membership and pay the application fee. Once the application is processed, members will have an additional six(6) months to complete their Code of Ethics and Local Orientation.
  • They did not complete the Triennial Code of Ethics training requirement within the required time frame. Once they have submitted proof of completion to membership@atlcbr.com, they will be reinstated to a fully active REALTOR® status.

REALTOR® Emeritus Application

REALTOR Emeritus®

A REALTOR® Emeritus is any person who has held membership in the National Association of REALTORS® as a REALTOR®, REALTOR-ASSOCIATE®, or a combination thereof, for a cumulative period of 40 years. The REALTOR® Emeritus will also have served on a national committee for at least one year to achieve this status. Upon approval by the Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS®, no further payment of dues is necessary to the local, state or national Associations. In addition to a dues waiver, REALTOR® Emeritus members are also no longer required to complete NAR's Triennial Code of Ethics Training.

The dues waiver does not take effect until the following 'dues season'. For example, members approved as Emeritus at the NAR Mid-Year or Annual meetings in 2024 would have their dues waived starting in 2025. Upon approval, each REALTOR® Emeritus member will receive a congratulatory letter, certificate, and 40-year REALTOR® Emeritus lapel pin.
